Time Passage

Walking the streets of the historic town of Beaufort, South Carolina is truly like finding a passage back in time. It seems perfectly natural to find horse drawn carriages leisurely winding their way along the oak-lined streets past magnificent eighteenth and early nineteenth century homes. Chartered by the British in 1711, Beaufort is the second-oldest town in South Carolina, and it hasn't lost any of its Southern grace and grandeur. This is a jewel of a town.
